Sunday I said this was the week the range finally breaks. It did. Monday we cleared 6,967, and by Wednesday we hit 7,043. Seven points past the 7,036 target from the weekly plan.
FOMC was a non-event. Fed held at 3.5-3.75%. Powell said the economy is on “firm footing.” Market shrugged and held above 7,000. The real action came after hours with Mag7 earnings:
MSFT -4%: Beat on earnings but Azure growth slowing. Dragged ES to 6,977.
META up: Beat across the board. Announced $115-135B AI capex for 2026.
TSLA +3%: Margins crushed expectations. Optimus on track.
Mixed bag, but here’s what matters. Even with Microsoft dragging, we only pulled back to 6,977 before bouncing 40 points. That’s the value area top on the volume profile. Buyers stepped in right where they should.
The updated dashboard is below. Key changes from Sunday:
7,036 target: Hit and exceeded
New support: 6,972-6,977 (value area top + earnings low)
Line in sand: Still 6,967. Lose that and we reassess.
Upside targets: 7,064 (Thursday) then 7,083 (end of week)
Thursday brings GDP at 8:30am and Apple after the bell. AAPL is the tiebreaker. It sets the tone for Friday.
The plan from here: buy dips toward 6,972-6,980. Don’t fade the breakout. Thin volume above 7,020. If we push higher, it can move fast.
If you traded the breakout, nice. If you’re still watching, the levels are still working. That’s the point of building these plans on Sunday. So you’re not making decisions in the moment.

Indeed — clear and precise. Love the plan, and thank you for breaking it down this week.
